"But in your dreams, whatever they be, dream a little dream of me."
--The Mamas and the Papas, Dream a Little Dream
I was actually listening to the Michael Buble version. I love Michael Buble, even if he is from Canada.
In all honesty, I love Canada.
Two words: natural resources.
Thanks to everyone who extended their sympathy about the Costa Rica thing. Those kids are going to be missed, for sure. (line of thinking=Canada=Blame Canada!=South Park=Mr. Garrison=Mr. Carlson's impression of Mr. Garrison=Mr. Carlson)
Good gravy, Paris Hilton has come out with a music album and subsequently a music video. This makes me sad. Just plain sad inside. I still haven't figured out why Paris Hilton is famous, other than she is a very wealthy ahem, woman of loose morals. My composure keeps me from saying otherwise. Who am I kidding? She's a big skank, but a famous one. I suppose she's what other skanks aspire to.
"Gee, I hope that one day I can be like Paris, she's so awesome. Until then, I'll get this see-through tube top.."
Is it sour grapes? Possibly. She grew up with opportunities I will probably never have. And she, she took those opportunities to make porn and put it on the Internet.
Speaking of porn, or the lack thereof, I was reading some Washburn Reviews from 1907--that staff was hilarious! I hope we can publish some fun stuff like that. I mean, honestly, an in-house ad that says, "People Read These Ads. You're Doing It Now!" and an open-forum thing that proves that college students haven't changed much in 100 years.
I really thought I had something coherent to post here. But it seems I've forgotten it. I am working on a discussion of the American Dream and its link to the protestant work ethic. Dang, I was really excited about that, too. I need to start taking my vitamins or something. Pretty soon I'm going to start my days and forget my pants or something. How embarassing. Particularly if it is not the first Friday in May...
On that note, I will leave you all.

I don't mind if you leave your pants at home everyday! Just thought I'd let you know ;)
Walking off and leaving your pants? Sounds more like something the Queen of Skanks would do. Just remember.... we'll always have Paris.
