"It sure as hell ain't normal. But we deal, we deal."
-Panic! at the Disco, Camisado
That song has some amazing lyrics that seem really personal. Of course, I don't know the kid that wrote them (I mean, I saw him this weekend, but I don't know him) the situation sounds vaguely familiar.
Speaking of my seeing Panic! at the Disco this weekend--I SAW PANIC! AT THE DISCO THIS WEEKEND. Woo! I may sound like an emo-kid teeniebopper, I am pretty sure that's because I am. I can't hide it anymore. No, but really, they are so much fun in concert, sometimes when you go watch a group they are just playing their music, which is awesome because you get to see the people that are creating something that you really dig and you get to interact with people who dig the same stuff you do. But there is something inherently great about seeing a band perform. (Okay, if I am going to make fun of Panic! at the Disco for their abuse of ending punctuation, I will stop with the italics abuse...oh, and parenthesis.) Anyway, we went for a show and we got one--they weren't joking when they said that we were in for a show. Even though they played "I Constantly Thank God for Esteban" last. Thanks guys, I lost a bet on that one. The show had an interesting Moulin Rouge, late 1800's feel, which is what they were going for, I am sure. Although their smiling moon bore a strong resemblance to the moon on the Mellon Collie and Infinite Sadness album by the Smashing Pumpkins--this was reaffirmed when they played a Smashing Pumpkins.
Overall: good time. P.S. I love the Hush Sound, I just wish they had a little more charisma.
I am super-duper excited for school to start. No really. Don't worry, this feeling will wear off by Late September, early October.
Remember, life throws all kinds of things at you, hopefully you have enough sense to duck or good enough reflexes to catch whatever it is and throw it back. Or run. Running is good sometimes....
Oh, and A.A. Anonymous, you should probably behave yourself, I know exactly how old you are....

Ok - can I know who A.A. Anonymous is... why am I outta the loop? Glad you had fun! :)
unfortunately, there are many things in life which are simply too fast and too large for me to either duck, catch, or run away from... things such as the bad joke truck...
And I know where you live... and you have to sleep sometime (evil cackle inserted here)! And I may be old but I'm not as old as your Mom (o crap does your Mom reads this doesn't she?) LOL A.A. (otherwise known, Tim, as Aunt Amy)
